Capacity Building

Skill & Capacity building is the foundation of everything we do. Our support workers focus on creating real-life opportunities for learning and growth so participants can build the skills, confidence and independence needed for long-term success.

How We Support Capacity Building

We can assist participants with:

  • Implementing therapist-guided support plans

  • Exploring employment opportunities and preparing for work

  • Maintaining current employment and developing workplace confidence

  • Travel training and learning to navigate public transport

  • Preparing for a driver’s licence and understanding safe driving responsibilities

  • Learning the basics of car ownership and maintenance

  • Organising personal administration and everyday life tasks

  • Applying for and studying further education or training courses

  • Building social confidence and communication skills

  • Developing healthy lifestyle choices

  • Cooking and maintaining a balanced diet

  • Creating and maintaining an exercise routine

  • Building strategies to support positive mental health and wellbeing

Every hour of support is an opportunity. We use that time to build skills, strengthen independence, and create lasting outcomes that extend beyond each session.
